What this directory is

Klang Valley Flooring Contractor Guide is an independent directory covering 124 flooring contractor businesses across Klang Valley. It exists for homeowners and renovators trying to work out which contractor is worth calling first, whether the job is vinyl and laminate for a condo unit, timber flooring for a landed home, or tiling and epoxy work for a shoplot renovation. Instead of a scroll of ads, we put together a working shortlist based on published data and reviews, so you can compare contractors before you pick up the phone.

We also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your request along to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for that introduction. This is disclosed in full on the quote page, and it never touches how a business is scored or ranked here.

How listings get built

Every contractor profile is built from two sources: public business information (registration details, service areas, contact details, years active where available) and a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead, we read the pattern of recent feedback and summarise the sentiment, then link out to the business’s Google profile so you can read the original reviews yourself.

A business that finds an error in its own listing, a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a service area that has changed, can ask us to correct it. What it cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the ranking. Those come out of our process, not the business’s preference.

How ranking and sponsorship work

Rankings are earned. They come from a published rubric applied consistently to the data and reviews we collect, and you can read exactly how it works on our methodology page. Nothing about a listing’s earned rank can be bought.

Where sponsorship exists, it is labelled “Sponsored” and shown in a separate section from the earned ranking. A sponsored placement never moves a business up or down the merit-based list. The two systems are kept apart on purpose.

Who runs this

This directory is published by MY Homee Guides. Adam founded MY Homee Guides after ten years working in the Klang Valley home service industry, and that background shaped how this site is built: plain, honest comparisons that cut down the guesswork of hiring a contractor. Adam also serves as Managing Editor, with direct oversight of the rubric and how it gets applied across all 124 listings.

Data is refreshed on a monthly cycle, and every listing carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see when it was last checked rather than take that on faith.
